The immunopathology of chlamydial disease exacerbated by the broad spectrum of inflammatory mediators, which we reported inhibited by IL-10 in macrophages. However, chlamydial protein that induces part inflammatory mediators and the mechanisms that IL-10 inhibits them is unknown. We hypothesize that the primary Chlamydia outer membrane protein (MOMP) mediate the pathogenesis of the disease, as well as the suppressor of cytokine signaling (SOCS) 1 and SOCS3 protein is the mediator of the inhibition of IL-10 action. Our hypothesis was tested by exposing mice to a stimulant J774 macrophages chlamydia (Chlamydia muridarum life and MOMP) with and without IL-10. MOMP significantly due to several inflammatory mediators (IL-6, IL-12p40, CCL5, CXCL10), which are dose-dependent inhibited by IL-10.

Our data indicate that SOCS1 and SOCS3 is a regulator of IL-10 inhibitory action and underlined the SOCS protein as a therapeutic target for IL-10 control inflammation for Chlamydia and other bacterial inflammatory disease.

Neuroinflammation is the main characteristic of the aging brain. During normal aging, macrophage inflammatory protein-3α (MIP-3α) and the receptor C-C chemokine receptor type 6 (CCR6) serves an important role in neuroinflammatory processes in the brain. The purpose of this study was to investigate the age-dependent changes in immunoreactivity of MIP-3α and CCR6 in gerbils in the postnatal hippocampus (PM) 1, 6, 12 and 24 through immunohistochemistry.
In the group of PM 1, both MIP-3α and CCR6 immunoreactivity was observed mainly in pyramidale strata in the right hippocampus and in the granule cell layer of the dentate gyrus. In PM 6 and PM 12 group, MIP-3α in pyramidale strata and layers of granule cells was decreased compared with PM1, and CCR6 immunoreactivity in both layers were sketchy.
